AI-Based Production Knowledge and Inference Database

The development of new production lines in the plastics industry requires the use of expert knowledge at various levels to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in production in the context of Industry 4.0 digitalisation. In addition to sensor data, best-practice guidelines and previously undocumented expert knowledge are also crucial to ensuring smooth production. In the course of this project, the heterogeneous knowledge sources will be combined in a knowledge database. The latest advances in language models allow not only the extraction and transcription of analogue knowledge, but also targeted queries when searching for solutions to problems.
